I started this blog to help people understand some of the challenges   which comes with having a observable disability. I feel that sharing these challenges may help someone else facing such a challenge. Or help someone without  a life challenging physical disability. The goal is to help someone overcome obstacles which seem to challenge everyone because we all possess shortcomings in some way or fashion. Its just that mine is obviously visual upon first impression. I refuse to allow that fact to hold me back or restrain me from doing what is necessary in order to achieve a goal. I hope you find this blog helpful and please feel free to to make comments or ask questions. I don’t shy away from controversial issues or use ambiguity to circumvent a subject. Prior to my incident I had attended public schooling on Chicago’s South Side which left me a thick skin for ridicule and teasing (thank you school bullies and mean kids…lol)
